Oyster/Sausage Appetizer Recipe
1 quart of oysters, drained
2 lbs. smoked sausage
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups of white wine
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
juice of 1 lemon
Cut up sausage in bite-size pcs. then cook them on a skillet with a cup of wine & all other seasonings just until almost all liquid has been absorbed. Next, add in one-half to one cup of wine & oysters as well.
Cook simmering until the edges of your oysters curl up. Finish with a sprinkling of green onions and parsley then serve them on a chafing dish together with lots of toothpicks.
