Philippino Pork Recipe
6 pcs. of pork steaks
1/2 cup of lemon juice
3 crushed cloves of garlic
1 pcs. Skewer (bamboo)
1/2 cup of soy sauce
Bone the pork steaks and slice them in 1/2-inch strips then weave or thread them on the bamboo skewer.
In a 9×13-inch baking dish, combine together garlic, juice of the lemon and soy sauce then immerse the skewers with the pork in the marinade and place in the refrigerator for a couple of hrs. or much better if it is marinated overnight.
The skewered pork may be cooked on the grill or can also be broiled for 15 mins. Small skewers with pork can be made for appetizers.
This dish can be served together with some rice and hot tortillas with salad greens. If you are making them ahead, just place them inside a warm oven to keep them warm.
